Photo Project: Chase Gorham

For the photo project i chose an old photo from when i was four years old. In the photo I was wearing a sombrero at my old house where I was originally from before my parents got divorced. I had a couple other selection of photos i was choosing from but i felt that this was the best to do. Although it took several hours of mine and my mom's time to find the sombrero it was definitely worth our time after we found it. After several hours of looking I finally found the sombrero in my step brothers room way down deep in his closet. It was actually the same one as the original picture. I tried to tilt the sombrero the best I could to resemble the same picture of when I was younger. Overall I liked this project because I saw several old pictures of myself that I have not seen in years. Even though some pictures were embarrassing we all had a good laugh afterwards. In the most recent picture I just woke up from a long night before and my mom had to take several photos before we decided we had the right one. I would like to do a project like this again in the future, or maybe even draw myself as a self-portrait. This project is most definitely harder then it looks because making it look as if it was the same picture is hard enough on its own. In ending, my only wish for this project was to have the recent picture bigger then the picture of when i was a kid.
