Edward Htoon

I chose to replicate this photograph for the simple reason that when I first saw it, I couldn't help but laugh. The photograph was taken when I was about seven or eight nad i think it was one of the first times I had been in snow. I can't really tell what I was thinking in the picture, but whatever it was ended up in a goofy expression. I couldnt find anything identical to the clothes I wore, so I just grabbed my snow jacket and a similar looking beanie, I was more intent on trying to accurately recreate the expression. Imagining what that expression means, is it bitter, pissed to be in the snow? or is it just someone about to sneeze? I honestly dont know, but I came up with the conclusion that it was the face of a dumbfounded kid. Deciding on that, I just tried to recapture a dumbfounded expression. Doing this assignment was pretty interesting and it was nice to look at some old photos. The project served as a reminder to look deeply into photographs and consider all aspects, both physical and emotional.
